Seems there's something for everyone, until it comes to the people who made that something possible in the first place.  Thought you might appreciate this.

What the HELL's wrong???

WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!

Tuesday's Daily Bulletin paper, ran two articles on the front page side by side :

1- Calif 's 20 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit

2- The Calif Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college and get benefits.

Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?

3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to Calif Taxpayers from Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care

At just one hospital the cost to tax payers totaled over $25  million a year

Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.???????????

In the last months we have provided aide to Haiti , Chile, and Turkey. Now it's Pakistan .....home of bin Laden.  Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter,  children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET...................

They had 'Benefits'  for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

WE CAN NOW ADD JAPAN TO THE LIST OF COUNTRIES WHO WILL RECEIVE BILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS TO AIDE WITH FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, MEDICINE, AND GENERAL SUPPLIES AS WELL AS THE REBUILDING OF JAPAN (AGAIN).
Yes, I feel bad for them however, tell me...which countries gave aid to New Orleans or Florida after hurricanes or Californina after earthquake(s) or... well, you get the idea.

Just imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

98% of people won't have the guts to forward this (also very sad).
I'm one of the 2% - I Just Did!

Kinda sad that this anger is so unfocused. Who is calling for destroying social security and medicare? Answer: Republicans. Its now their official policy, written down and presented to the American people as if its a good idea.

Why does California have a 20 billion dollar deficit? Answer: Republicans. They have destroyed the tax base and now refuse to cooperate with any attempt to raise any additional revenue, so the only choice we have every year is to cut more and more services.

Also, Japan did send money to help after Katrina.

Too bad somebody would have to burn their retinas out on that large crimson acid-trippy font before getting to the bottom and seeing just who you are...and where your loyalties lie.

The outrage, it just sounds stale to me today. It's the same villains, same problems, same incivility, same language, same made-up statistics. I'm bored with right-wing hysteria!

Illegal immigrants don't put California $25 billion in the hole.

Prop 13 hobbled the state's ability to match property taxes to home value, so as home prices doubled over five years (then crashed, wiping out families' livelihood), the state got no money from it. That's idiotic, and the people voted for it!

This e-mail is demanding a stronger social safety net, aid for seniors, veterans, orphans, and the homeless -- all the things Republicans in Washington and across the country are trying to destroy. It's a left-wing forward!

It's easier and cheaper to adopt foreign babies.

Prop 13 was the dumbest goddamned piece of legislature ever passed in California.

It doesn't take "guts" to forward a cranky, unfocused list of complaints that does nothing to improve anything or anyone's life. Spreading angry messages around is very negative and unhelpful to society. And I do wish it was only 2% of people who engage in this pointless activity, its probably 20%.

The cosmic dissonance of this particular RWF is quite jarring. WTF do they want? I'm not clear.

There's a LOT of anger being stoked against helping "the other," which in this nasty diatribe includes alleged "illegal" Mexicans trying to go to college, Haitians after the nation was devastated by an earthquake, and now the Japanese (who have helped us during various disasters, but hey! who's counting???).

However, I must hasten to point out that it's sadly NOT just Republicans who wish to *destroy* Soc Sec & Medicare. Obama is at the head of that line cheering this on, and so are a ton of Democratic pols in Wash DC

In truth, neither Soc Sec, nor Medicare, is an entitlement. Nearly all citizens pay into these insurance schemes, and we should get value for investment.

If you hear somewhere that Soc Sec and Medicare are "causing" the deficit, rest assured that it's a bald-faced lie. But also rest assured that it's NOT just the Rs who are trying to rob both programs - mainly in order to force citizens to invest in Wall ST (and we all know how "safe" that is).

Like someone else said: the hysterical & nonsensical anger sent forth daily in these RWFs is incredibly boring and draining. I don't get how anyone can "enjoy" these and find them at all useful or enlightening or whatever.

Meh... this one's just dumb. We could only wish that only 2% of the population pay attention to drek like this. I agree that it's more like 27%.

At least this one got the forwarding thing right: "Only 2% will pass this on" makes a lot more sense than "Only 98% will pass this on".

We could also charge oil companies a severance tax for drilling our oil, like every other state in the country does. Guess who keeps voting against that?
