Subject: Custmomer Service Tip...I never knew this

Good to know!

Customer Service tip-this is so worth reading...........

Try to remember this EVERY TIME you have
To talk to a customer service representatives
And you cannot understand them. I did not
Know that we could do this, but I sure am
Going to try it.. Help bring jobs back to the
U.S.A. Ask for an American!
How to save some American jobs and we can help!
Hi Everyone,
I want to share with you some great information that I found out, purely by accident. I believe it can also save and create jobs in  America , while giving people better customer service.

So, how many times have you called a company's service phone line and found that the rep. Can barely speak English? Once, with a major mortgage company, it was so bad I demanded to speak with someone who spoke English. Right at that moment, I broke the code, the secret password for customer service.

Come to find out that every American company using overseas operators must transfer you to an American rep. By saying...
" I want to speak to a representative in  America ...."
(Don't take no for an answer on this.)

This was confirmed by the American rep. That they must transfer you after that request. I've tried it on a half a dozen major companies, including cable, bank, phone, and mortgage companies It works every time and I actually get my issues taken care of.

False. There's no such law. As for those who can "barely speak english", my experience with overseas call centers is that they speak the language just fine. Better than many Americans to be honest.

This is a nice bit of misplaced rage. Instead of getting mad at the companies who will outsource American jobs in order to save 3 cents a share on their stock dividends, we get to get mad at the "evil" foreigners who "stole" those jobs.

That's bogus. Some companies may transfer you; some won't. Deal with it. This is what happens when rightwing elites outsource US jobs to foreign countries. Don't like it? Too bad. You conservatives make far too much money, and your rightwing Oligarchy overlords have deemed you Teabaggers as expendable. Get used to your new status, as your standard of living keeps dropping. But hey: make sure you *blame* everything on those poor minorities because, frankly, that's who should be "mad as hell" at... sure works at distracting you from who's *really* ripping you off.

P.S. This little bit of rightwing fantasy fiction brought to you by your "friendly" rightwing thinktank in order to *distract* you by demonizing damned foreigners who have the nerve not to speak English well enough...

This site is going to get pretty lonely if the Republicans ever learn about Snopes.

I wish you were right about that, but don't bet on it. My own "Right Wing Dad" used to constantly refer to Snopes in his usual deluge of urban legend or less politically partisan email forwards, as a way of giving them credibility. He's become much much harder right wing the past few years and and as soon as he saw any of his RW teabagger delusions debunked by Snopes, he now reflexively discredits Snopes as "left wing". He unabashedly admits he gets his news only from Fox news or reading Investor's Business Daily.

I guess the phsycological term for that would be 'Confirmation Bias'

I would say the following quote would explain at least 99% of right wing post.

"A man is his own easiest dupe, for what he wishes to be true he generally believes to be true"
Demosthenes

The person who originated this post must really have lots of problems. When (he,she) started to write the post they were going to try it and in just the time it took to write the post they had tried it a half dozen times amazing.

Followers of this bit of email advice are guaranteed a wonderful feeling they have done their part to bring back American jobs, while in fact doing nothing at all. I'm only surprised it didn't have a little prayer at the end, or at least a patriotic Reagan quote.

Don't like overseas reps?

Why ever not, my right-wing friend?!

The FREE MARKET has spoken! Overseas reps are cheaper than American workers! Businesses are just doing what's best for their bottom line - and we all know that What's Good For Business Is Good For America!

If you don't like the service you get from one company due to overseas reps, then, why - you're free to take your business elsewhere! That's how the Glorious Free Market works! (What's that? They ALL have overseas reps? Oh, well...maybe you should start your own business, and provide the valuable service of American customer service! If it's truly a Good Idea, then the Free Market will Speak and Reward you! It's an Opportunity! America is all about Opportunity, right?!)

What the hell are you - some kind of whining left-wing union class warrior freak who thinks that the Holy Market should be - gasp - regulated??? Or worse, that labor should organize? What the hell do you want - some sort of international commie solidarity?!

The Market Has Spoken - and you're COMPLAINING? As if you think that something other than the Free Market should impact your experiences?

F*#&ing libs!
