Ah, the Wall Street Journal, the last bastion of intelligent political discourse.

To spare you a click, it's an opinion piece by Peggy Noonan subtitled, "No president has alienated his base the way Obama has."

Of course, let's not forget the President who so infuriated his own base that Republicans lost complete control of the government for two years.

Nooners. Nuff said.

I seem to recall that we had a president in the late 80s and early 90s who so alienated his base that they elected a different guy altogether in 1992.

Republicans can't remember anything that happened before January 2009.

Dame Pegginton Nooningtonhampshireton? Nooners must've had a few extra slugs of whiskey before popping the downers to write this crap.

WSJ? Since Rupert Murdoch bought it, it has predictably become the print version of Fake "Nooz." Not worth the paper its printed on anymore.

More's the pity, but like Moody's and Morningstar, WSJ should never be read, and if read, caveat emptor applies. The Oligarchs write what they want anymore in order to fake the rubes into being ripped off. Just saying...

I like the WSJ for the most part (I work in a corporation and invest in the stock market, so of course I read 'em), but their editorial page is an absolute assload.

More tripe from the same person who wrote (and apparently believed) that God sent dolphins to help keep Elian Gonzalez afloat while he was paddling towards Miami.

No, seriously.
