If you choke, blame the pretzel.

Do you think wingnuts bring up the stupid teleprompter so much because their guy, W, couldn't read one without stumbling over every third word?

Or do you think they actually believe that Saint Ronnie read everything off the cuff and wasn't the master of the teleprompter?

Hey at least it's a step up.

The Bush version just had pictures.

The Bush version included a hidden microphone and receiver, so that he could not only attempt to read the TelePromTr but also have his lines fed to him.

I don't know why wingnuts love this so much, as if it "proves" something. All US Pres have used versions of "notes" like this since the inception of the country.

So, go ahead and get distracted by nothing... that's the GOAL of propoganda like this dumb photo. Like: forget about those costly Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, where our alleged "allies," Pakistan are arming the Afghani war lords in order to kill US citizens. Yeah: let's point and laugh at a TelePromTr... that makes sense!

This stuff always makes me chuckle. So
pathetic, in 12 feet high neon letters.

The pundits spit it out there, because that's
their job. But the cognitive dissonance this
must cause the faithful...you can't put a
price on that.

Obama does a perfectly fine job of speaking off the cuff and often an excellent one when delivering a prepared speech. The diehard Bush acolytes just can't get over that, having endured eight years of a thick-tongued, syntax-challenged, memory-deficient chief executive. ("Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.") No wonder they're desperate to find excuses to mock Obama's oratory. It's kind of sad.

Lighten up, Zeno. He was just trying to put food on his family and make the pie higher by presidenting.

I actually think this one is kind of clever, judging on the usual RW curve. You can disagree with the point and indentify the underlying humor.

What humor?

What humor?

A teleprompter that blue-screened. Oh, technology!

Ok, attempted humor. Come one, folks, this one's not offensive, and makes light of a perceived fault with Obama (use of teleprompter) and is otherwise in good tastes. Compare that to the photo-shopped stuff we normally get and this is Will Rogers-esque by comparison.

Again: what humor??
