FOX NEWS CAVES IN TO PRESSURE:

In response to President Obama's complaint that FOX News doesn't show enough Black and Hispanic people on their network, FOX has announced that they will air " America 's Most Wanted" TWICE a week from now on.

Needs the "making fun of minorties" and "racism" tags

What, whites don't commit crimes? Ignorance at its worst.... again.

Does "America's Most Wanted" air as a part of Fox News?

I can totally see FOX doing this.

Really, Fox SHOULDN't cave to demands for more blacks & Hispanics on tv.

What we really need is more rich white people on teevee.

Which is why I propose Fox produce and air a new show: "America's Most Wanted II: Wall Street".

I though 24 fulfilled any contractual need for idiotic racial stereotyping on Fox prime time.

Oh yeah right, conservatives aren't bigots and racist. I almost forgot that. Thanks for the handy reminder.

Like there's no white people on "America's Most Wanted." What a bunch of losers.

Tapping into what previous anonymous said: anyone else ever noticed how MSNBC loves running "Lockup" near the end of the day, showing life inside some hard core prison. How about "Lockup - Minimum security work camp" amd we can see former congressmen, CEOs, lobbyists, etc.

I would love to see a show about wall collar criminals, including the rip off banksters and lobbyists, in some kind of tv show about their "lock ups." However, how many of these criminals, other than Bernie Madoff and Jack Abramoff, have been indicted and sent to an actual jail??

I mean, seriously, Martha Stewart has to do time for her minor (but yes, criminal) insider trading, but how many Goldman Sachs criminals do you see being busted these days? I won't hold my breath.

Hence, the tv show would be quite short-lived. Therein lies the problem: our criminal justice system is, shock surprise, much more punitive towards minorities and poor people (hence the racist theme of this stupid "joke") than it is to the obscenely wealthy, who are more likely to be white.

A good notion in theory, but in practice, sadly, those criminals (who are usually much more deleterious to our nation and our society at large) rarely get busted, much less do "hard time."
