oh for heaven's sake. no one will argue that one can have opposing viewpoints to the current admin in power EXCEPT FOR crazed faux nutwork inspired wingtard's like this.

It wasn't so long ago that Democrats were adjured by people like this that we could never ever utter one dissenting word against the sainted W (now, finally, not quite so sainted) bc he was a wartime Pres (how convenient). and to utter the slightest criticism of W was to give "aid and comfort to the enemy."

Well, Obama is also a wartime Pres but Double Standard hypocritical wingtards feel that it is their bounden DUTY to constantly criticize Obama. In fact it is their PATRIOTIC DUTY to do so.

What is sauce for the goose is never, ever sauce for the gander.

I defend their right to campaign for their own side, but it would be nice if there wasn't such a double standard, plus all of the numerous outright lies in this rant.

Oh well. More of the same, and more to come, no doubt. Nothing new to see here; move along...

Obviously this is a unhealthy dose of crazy, not really worth a point by point debunking, but a few things here made me chuckle.

I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage

Obama is (sadly) against gay marriage. So I can only assume that the writer of this email is pro-gay marriage. Right?

I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public)

So... you're not Christian? That's cool, freedom of belief and all that, though somehow I think you didn't mean that given that you believe America is a "Christian nation".

"They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!"

Huh? Aaannddd this is "bad" how?

Is this bubble brain saying that being racist, bigoted & intolerant is one of their bounden rights, and they're supposed to be venerated for it?

Wouldn't surprise me, if that's what this is supposed to mean: as in, how DARE you criticize me for being a racist? I can say "n" word all I like.

I also enjoy how they portray it as "my" America. I guess they really do see it as 2 different places: one where "their kind" can be as racist & ignorant as they like, while bullying everyone, and the other where "eeeevul libruls" get to be tolerant & treat the poor & minorities well.

hmmmm....

"Besides, he has no clue that God's chosen people is Israel and we are to bless them, not take away from them. Those that curse Israel are cursed by God. Those that bless Israel, are blessed by God. Pray for His people."

This line of thinking scares the crap out of me. There is a segment of the population that believes we should give Israel everything they want and a pony because God will then give us a kickback. And of course these people still believe the people of Israel are going to hell anyway for not accepting Jesus, but it's vital that we "support them" (and let them do whatever they want to any of their neighbors) because according to one rambling gospel (that Luther himself wanted to chuck out of the cannon) Israel has to exist in order for Jesus to come back.

These people VOTE.

You talk about how President Blackity Black Scary Hussein X will doom us all six months into his presidency, but his predecessor, the guy who took a massive dump into the world's most volatile region so he could feel like he had a bigger dick, can only be judged by history. Okay.

Why, I tell ya, America was SO great...

(How great was it?)

Why, it was SO great... that Israel was God's chosen people and nation.

Thank you! I'll be here all week!

"However, I believe that [Bush] weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!"

There are almost more things wrong with this one sentence than in the entire rest of the crazy.

Wow. Just wow.

Just a few Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers: isolationism, slavery, Deism, system of checks and balances, small military (Jefferson at least), importance of education and rhetorical/oratory skills, terrorism/insurgency against British crown and loyalists.

Now, Bush doesn't seem to have weighed his decisions against any of these. While in some cases that may be a good thing, it doesn't change the wrongness of the writer's claim.

So that means the wingnut is in favor of gay marriage, since Obama supports DOMA?
