SOMEBODY'S RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!

One Nation, 'Under God.'

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No.

TEACHER: That's my point.. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
teacher?

TOMMY: Yes

LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?

TOMMY: No

LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she possibly may not even have one!

(You Go Girl!)

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT'
II CORINTHIANS 5:7

Don't forget to pass this on! I love this one.
Everyone should send this to everyone they know,
especially today with prayer restricted in schools.
Forward if you believe in GOD!!!!

1 - A teacher wouldn't be and shouldn't be promoting an atheistic view. It's also highly unlikely that this pathetic line of "reasoning" (gee who really thought that up)

2 - It is not only more likely but it actually happens that X-ian teachers will sometimes proselytize or assume every child is or ought to be a X-ian.

3. One can remove the top of the teacher's skull and see her brain.

Also, we know that w/o a brain none of us, including the teacher would be able to live. We know this from actual evidence, not from unsupported assertions like this god character.

In short, anyone who thinks this is smart or clever (be it a theist or non-theist) is an idiot. They do have brains in their head for the reasons I mentioned above so I won't make an insult by claiming they don't. It is sad though they choose not to use their brains for anything remotely close to critical thought.

There's your answer for any fucktards that send you this.

Evolution has nothing to do with belief in any gods.

I remember this story before when it was a mean ol' liberal professor, but yes, this line of reasoning does seem better suited for a six-year-old's level.

I love the "You Go Girl!" part. All of a sudden the author gets all sassy. And of course this is followed by the ominous "Forward if you believe in GOD!!!!" I can only assume if you don't you're going straight to hell. Oh religion. You so crazy.

6 year olds... being taught a lesson on evolution... which somehow becomes a lesson about Atheism and has no mention of any biological principles...

Geez people, at least make it semi-realistic.

I mean: like, WHA?? How does this even tie into evolution? WTF?

And as if any teacher/professor/ educator would actually say something like this anyway.

These types of "Christians" (not all) just love to victimize themselves and present a picture of the world that doesn't jive w/reality.

Well, although I wholeheartedly agree w/Matto overall, perhaps I disagree w/you on one teesny tinsy point: ergo: I think if you opened up the skull of the idiot who thought this one up (and the skulls of anyone who forwards it), there would, in fact, be NO BRAIN there.

What. A. Bunch. Of. Morans.

So this is what happens in the imaginary schools inside the heads of those who forward these things. No wonder these folks homeschool.

Pathetic.

Just pathetic.

Is this the best you xtians can do?

Seriously, we atheists really don't give a crap about you, because you act this silly.

Try to reinstitute the Inquisition, though, and see where that gets you.

When I was in HS (granted, a private one, and our teacher was awesome) he basically told us this.

"This is how evolution works. This is what science says. Now, I don't give a damn if you "believe" in it or not. That's your choice. But, come test time, you'd better KNOW it backwards and forwards.

Any questions?"

I think the little stories in the Chick Tracts make more sense.

That is really sad. C'mon RWF writers...you can do better than Jack Chick!!

Like most atheists say give me proof that gods exist I will believe. You can show proof that the brain is there. QED

Man, I love me a good Chick Tract.

My favorite part (so far) of that one is how the class collectively screams "WHOA WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" when the kid says the word "Bible," and two seconds later when he brings up his first nonsensical point they go "OH HOLY SHIT HE'S SO RIGHT!"

Hibryd said...

Hee hee. Yeah, that's your standard Chick tract.

Sinner: "The bible is wrong."

Wholesome Christian: "No it's not."

Sinner: "... Oh my God! My entire life has been a lie!"
