IN ORLANDO LAST WEEK, AT A CITGO STATION, REGULAR GAS WAS PRICED AT$2.82 PER GALLON, AND NO CUSTOMERS.

HOWEVER, ACROSS THE STREET FUEL WAS SELLING FOR $2.85 PER GALLON AND ALL PUMPS THERE HAD CARS WAITINGTO FUEL UP. What's going on? Word is getting around!!!!! Read on:

Have you noticed how the CITGO signs have disappeared in the past 7-8 months? A very clever move by Chavez. But guess what, "CITGO" IS CHANGING ITS NAME, too...
This is serious, Americans,...make sure you read this very carefully.

NEWS FLASH:
Chavez is NOW getting a Russian Weapons Factory built by Putin. TheRUSSIANS are building an AK -47 Kalashnikov Assault Rifle factor y inVenezuela , to give armament support to Communist Rebel groups throughout the Americas ..

Chavez NOW has IRANIANS operating his oil refineries in Venezuela for him. It is likely only a matter of time, if not already, before Chavez has Iranian builtLONG RANGE missiles, with a variety of warhead types aimed at: Guess Who?

CITGO is NOW in the process of Changing Its Name to "PETRO EXPRESS"due to the loss of gasoline sales in the USA ...due to the recent publicity of ownership by Chavez of Venezuela.

Every dollar you spend with ''CITGO" or "PETRO EXPRESS" gasoline will be used against you, your basic human rights, and your freedoms. He will start wars here in the Americas.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because Chavez is starting to feel the loss of revenue from his holdings. HE OWNS "CITGO". This is a very important move that everyone should be aware of.

ANNOUNCED JUST RECENTLY: "CITGO", BEING AWARE THAT SALES ARE DOWN DUE TO U.S. CUSTOMERS NOT WANTING TO BUY FROM 'CITGO-CHAVEZ', HAVE STARTED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF SOME OF THEIR STORES TO: 'PETRO EXPRESS'. DO NOT BUY FROM "PETRO EXPRESS"20EITHER!!! 'PETRO EXPRESS' IS ALSO 100% OWNED BY "CHAVEZ."

KEEP THIS MEMO GOING SO THAT EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.
BOTTOM LINE,-- BOYCOTT "CITGO" & "PETRO EXPRESS"please!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS IS PASSED ON TO EVERYONE IN YOUR E-MAIL LIST IN THE UNITED STATES AND OUTSIDE OF AMERICA .

I thought we should not worry about what the rest of the world does?

I was thinking of just skipping this e-mail, but it's so colorful that I was drawn like a moth to the flame.

Sigh...

Oil is a fungible resource. Boycott Citgo stations all you want, all you are doing is hurting the (likely American) owners and employees of those stations. Even if you could get a large enough boycott to back up supply, Citgo would just turn around and resell their product to another company, and it would end up in your gas tank just the same.

Oh, and screw that Petro Express. I mean, they are a privately owned company (owned by an American) which sells Texaco Gasoline, but we can never be too careful. I'm sure all that is a clever ruse.

Sigh. I don't have enough time to research this, but most oil companies have "dirty hands" and are engaged in lots of nefarious stuff. Oh, and like let's worry about Iranians being involved when we're hand in glove w/ the Saudi's who basically funded the Al Qeada group responsible for 9/11 (no I'm not a crank or a conspiracy person, and I don't think King Saud was personally responsible for the disaster. But they did and do fund Al Qaeda).

Royal Dutch Shell was responsible for Ken Saro-Wiwa, and environmental activist, being killed in Nigeria(long story; look it up). so none of these companies are "clean."

As BHO has been urging: we need to move away from our dependence on fossil fuels for a variety of reasons, and one of them is dependence on foregin oil. Rather than attempting to "boycott" some random petrol company, why not avoid driving a gas guzzler, or better still: ride your bike to work?

But: meh. As usual, the rightwing does love them some colorful fonts.

People getting hysterical about Hugo Chavez baffle me. Are they even clear on why they are supposed to hate him?

See this article on Snopes, too.

To Jeff: the answer to your question is a succinct: NO.

Fatso Limburger told them to hate 'em some Hugo Chavez, and if hatin' on Hugo is good enough for el Rushbo, then it's good enough for the wingtardz.
