FW: worth a couple of minutes.

Wow, this is a right-wing talking-point roll-call of sorts. Thanks to Marshall for sharing this image rich argument, I'd say it's Iraq figures are a bit out of date, but who's counting on accuracy in forward-land anyway. Please take the time to enjoy the GIF of Ted Kennedy and his Oldsmobile—it's a classic.

Wow, it's been a long time since I saw right-wingers rallying in opposition to Howard Metzenbaum.

I grew up in Ohio, and the degree of naked Jew-hatred of Jewy-jew McJewtzenbaum in the "heartland" was simply appalling. Nice to see them resurrecting the libel that he represented the Communist Party USA. I realize that most right-wingers can't tell the difference between a labor union and a Soviet cabal, but, really, you think they'd be ashamed by their own ignorance.

And the Iraq/Detroit comparison is a filthy lie in so many directions it's impossible to count. 39 American troop deaths in January 2008 would be more comparable to 39 *police* deaths in a month, if police officers only drove around in armored cars. It says nothing about the general safety of Iraq.

Also, isn't it great to see right-wingers using the collapse of American cities into violent madhouses as a *positive* force?
