FW: Can Muslims be Good Americans? (followed by Can Catholics be Good Americans---a spoof of the original)

Look out Americans! From E. Alexander, this forward carries double the suspicion, thanks to a hand-crafted rejoinder...

"I have attached both the original wacky forward and the reply my friend and I penned. "

Can Muslims be Good Americans?

Something to think about.

Coexistence of Judeo-Christian and Muslim Societies ?

Food for thought

Bigoted or not........just read and think and draw your own conclusions.

Can Muslims be Good Americans?

Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? Consider this:

Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.

Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically, no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically, no, because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)

Intellectually, no, because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically, no, because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression.

Democracy and Islam cannot co - exist.

Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually, no, because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as our heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.

They obviously cannot be both good Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth. If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country.

The war is bigger than we know.

Please read through to the end.

Can Catholics be Good Americans?

Something to think about.

Food for thought

Bigoted or not........just read and think and draw your own conclusions.

Can Catholics be Good Americans?

Can a devout Catholic be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? Consider this:

Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to the Pope, the ruler of a foreign city-state.

Historically, no. Throughout history, nations ruled by the Catholic Church have been amongst the most repressive, oppressive, and war-mongering on record. Exhibiting a distinct lack of compassion and disdain for freedom of religion, their historical record is the antitheis of what our Nation stands for.

Idealogically, no. Because his faith was an inspiration for Nazism. ("I learned much from the Order of the Jesuits. Until now there has never been anything more grandiose, on the earth, than the hierarchial organization of the Catholic Church. I transferred much of this organization into my own party" -Adolf Hitler).

Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Catholicism forbids him to make friends with Protestants or Jews. (blasphemers and the killers of Christ)

Politically, no. Because he will use the political platform to further the causes of his true leader, The Pope.

Domestically, no. Because polygamy is accepted (the Bible is rife with men w/ multiple wives), they are anti-woman (women are not to speak in church. 1Cor. 14:34-35, 1Timothy 2:11-15), and they are anti-handicapped (the 'afflicted' are not to enter church. Lev. 21:16-23).

Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his God except his own. (Acts 4:12, John 14:6)

Intellectually, no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Protestant Biblical principles written for a nation founded by those fleeing the persecution of Catholic rule.

Philosophically, no. Because Catholicism, Jesus, and the Bible do not allow freedom of religion and expression.

Ethically, no. Because his Church concealed crimes against children and protected those guilty of them.

The Protestant Christian nation of America has historically seen his leader, The Pope, as the Anti-Christ. The militant Catholic group IRA/Sinn Fein and their allies are responsible for terrorist attacks that have killed over 2000 men, women, and children.

Spiritually, no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," it is the Protestant Christian's God. Not the God of those who worship the mother of Christ and bow to the leader of a foreign nation.

Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL CATHOLICS in this country.

They obviously cannot be both good Catholics and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth. If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above (God forbid), perhaps you will share this with your friends(one would hope not).

Of course, the above is RIDICULOUS. It is just as ridiculous as the initial forward about Muslims was. I could create equally ludicrous lists 'proving' that Jews, African-Americans, Italians, Germans, American Indians, and even Women are incapable of being 'good Americans'. We cannot let Theological hubris distort our view of our fellow Americans. The more who pull their heads out of their myopic and bigoted rears, the better it will be for our country.

The war on ignorance is bigger than we know.

Here's another reminder of just how weak we are, courtesy of MRWD reader Joseph:

"I see propaganda all over this – the friend who sent it to me told me I needed to lighten up. I’m forwarding to you to let you and other readers decide."

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930s, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets. Not to mention the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because, WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms........
WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them, CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.
While you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!

The quote of the month is by Jay Leno:
"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

For those that prefer to think that God is not watching over us...go ahead and delete this.
For the rest of us...pass this on.

Mailbox Time! "I feel your pain..."

Here's a funny note of empathy from a fellow right-wing rant recipient in Arkansas...
I thought I was the only person who got these hideous things forwarded from my ultra-right-wing brother (and sister-in-law) and niece! I have dozens of liberal (read “rational”) friends but none of them send me leftwing versions of this stuff. At first, I started trying to debunk the worst of them by politely pointing the sender to snopes or urbanlegends. Then I started just trying to ignore them by trashing them immediately but then I started missing actual family correspondence (grandniece’s birthday parties, brother’s travel plans, etc). Once I even started a really vehement response but then trashed it in favor of familial harmony (we don’t Talk politics – it’s a rule). Then I started seeking out maybe a good “Mother Jones” or “Nation” article to start forwarding to counteract this but I was fearful that it might start a blizzard of these things coming in response. So now I have to actually READ the horrid things and then trash them.

Thanks for the bit of relief and a place to rant about it! Fortunately, my main source of these things just dried up a few weeks ago when my ultra-Christian, rightwing, traditional family values, God-fearing niece got caught by her husband flirting with men online and he’s taken her PC access away (ahhh the irony)!

Best regards from, as my brother would say, “the Peoples Republic of Fayetteville” Arkansas (it’s very tree-huggy, liberal here in Northwest Arkansas),

Oh. PC access denied.. That had to of been a rough spot. Nothing faith in Right-Wing righteousness won't cure!

FW: FW: Very interesting!

Thanks for the forwards! Tip of the hat to Dana.. This one is, uh, a proud story about our friends at Budweiser and Pepsi delivering a "Good old American Passive-Aggressive A$$ Whoopin!" I'm positive they absolutely love the patriotic publicity this forward radiates.

--begin forwarded message---

Very interesting!

The Budweiser Story

(not a joke)

This is TRUE!

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those

who died on the 11th of September,

Thought you might like to know what happened

in a little town north of Bakersfield , California .

After you finish reading this,

please forward this story on to others

so that our nation and people around the world

will know about those who laughed

when they found out about the tragic events

in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon.

On September 11th,

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery

to a convenience store in a California town

named McFarland.

He knew of the tragedy that had occurred

in New York when he entered the business

to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval

and support of this treacherous attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck,

called his boss and told him

of the very upsetting event!

He didn't feel he could be in that store with those

horrible people. His boss asked him,

"Do you think you could go in there long enough

to pull every Budweiser product and item

our beverage company sells there?

We'll never deliver to them again."

The employee walked in,

proceeded to pull every single product his

beverage company provided and left

with an incredible grin on his face.

He told them never to bother to call for

a delivery again.

Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice

for that community.

Just letting you know how Kern County

handled this situation. And Now

The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man

are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.

Pepsi called his boss who told him to

pull all Pepsi products as well!!!

That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and

all vendors followed suit! At last report,

the store was closed indefinitely.

Good old American

Passive-Aggressive A$$ Whoopin!

Pass this along, America needs to know

that we're all working together!

If you can read this.

Thank a teacher...

If you are reading it in English....

If you do not send this

you have no soul !!!!

FW: WHEN I WHINE..... Beautiful

Lord, forgive me while I vomit all over my laptop, for I have read this forward and.. bleagh, bleahgh!

---begin forwarded message---

When I Whine
Today, upon a bus, I saw a girl with golden hair
I looked at her and sighed and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and used a crutch
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy
The lad who sold it had such charm
I talked with him a while, he seemed so very glad
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.
Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue
He stood and watched the others play
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I would know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, The world is mine.
If this poem makes you feel like I felt,
just forward it to your friends,
after all, it's just a simple reminder....
We have soooooo much to be thankful for!!!
Sorrow looks back,
Worry looks around,
Faith looks up.
